Local Art

Painter-Bernadette McCormack - Bernadette's paintings are simple and clean, colorful and bold. Nature, relationships, and spiritual beauty inspire her images. Bernadette uses translucent paints to create her pictures, layering color on top of color until the final color is achieved. Each layer of paint is essential to the existence of the next layer. She believes there are also layers to our human existence. Bernadette compares her layers of paints to layers of life, and she sees the importance of everything that has passed before us, and everything that will follow.

"Worth A Trip No Matter Where You Are On the Island"
