WIne and Whales

A full day tour combining our two most popular tours, Whale Watching, and the Saturna Island Winery Tour. This tour is ideal for corporate retreats, couples' vacations, and honeymooners. Come and experience the best that Vancouver Island has to offer.

The morning starts off with a Whale Watching excursion followed by a visit to the renowned Saturna Island Winery for a tour of the vineyard, wine tasting and a sumptuous lunch. The view from the terrace of the Bistro is one of the best in all of the Gulf Islands.

Saturna Island Vineyards wine shop and bistro are located in a beautiful barn inspired building. Located in the midst of the vineyards the wine shop/bistro building was erected around a post and dowel frame that was fashioned by a Vancouver Island craftsman. It was shipped to Saturna in 1997 and the building was completed and outfitted in the spring of 1999. In the spring of 2001 this building was retrofitted to serve as the wine shop, tasting room and bistro.

The mezzanine level offers a relaxing atmosphere in which guests can enjoy the incredible view of Pender Island and the San Juan Islands of Washington State. This room is also available for private tastings, small gatherings and receptions.

Our Wine and Whales tour is a private charter, we have a 6 person minimum and the cost is $199 per passenger to a maximum of 12 passengers. Please contact us for more information.
